A weak sun shone over the Hogwarts School grounds, giving most of the students a very cheerful feeling. The school was filled with laughter and first years running around like idiots. But for one person who escaped the crowd, the sun was like her worst enemy. It wasn't the fact that it was the sun, but it made people happy and Junifer Icefeather hated happiness in the way other people did. People were getting happy over the most silly things, like good grades or when they kissed for the first time. To Junifer, these things were all stupid, happiness, what was happiness anyway?
She let out a small sigh when she walked to the lake. Maybe that was why they called her 'sub-zero Icefeather'. Because she had no feeling or never showed her emotions. Because she was vicious like a virus eating a men's flesh for survival? Because her glare was so cold that it could freeze anything? Junifer didn't care at all. As long as she had her reputation she was happy. She sat down, leaning back against a tree as she heard someone approaching.

(Not trying to offend you or anything but, could you please make up your own reply without copying mine plus one line and use " " Thank you, Junifer)

Junifer looked up as someone called her name. She narrowed her eyes to see who it was, but she didn't know, except for the fact that she was a Slytherin, just like Junifer. Junifer was widely known as someone who didn't easily get along with people and she was holding back now as well. "Who are you?" Junifer asked, not bothered to first greet the girl.

Serenity had left the common room to have a stroll around the grounds, something she hadn't been able to do since she had started Hogwarts. Too much homework had kept on top of her. Sighing happily she wandered around the grounds, passing students in groups. Many people called her a loner but she prefered to be on her own instead of being around people her own age.
Instead of wandering around aimlessly she decided to go down to the lake's edge and see if she could spot the giant squid, a myth some idiotic people said. Striding down towards the lake she caught a glimpse of two Slytherin girls. She noticed one of them, Junifer Icefeather, a legend at Hogwarts for her personality. Serenity didn't think she would like to talk to Junifer so she hid behind a near-by bush, settling down comfortably to listen to the conversation between Junifer and the girl.

Sandie approached the Black Lake, hoping to find someone to talk to. She certainly wasn't a loner, and didn't like being alone very much. But, she did like sneaking around. She almost approached the two girls sitting closer to the water, but spotted another girl hiding in a bush. She chose another path, and walked up behind the girl. "Hi," she said, from behind the girl. "I've heard eavesdropping can be some adventure."

Serenity jumped as a voice spoke behind her. Turning round, her eyes wide and fearful, she only saw a fellow student. A Hufflepuff, from the colour robes she wore. Serenity managed a shakey smile at the new-comer. 'Oh, hi,' she whispered, 'My name's Serenity Smith. Gryffindor, 1st year. And you?' She extended out a hand waiting for the girl to shake and answer her question. Glancing round quickly she made sure the two slytherins hadn't heard her and the Hufflepuff girl.

Sandie knelt down beside the girl. She wasn't in the bush, merely beside it. She shook the girl's hand warmly. "I'm Sandie Valens, Hufflepuff 3rd year. Mind if I join in on the eavesdropping?"

'Go ahead' she replied with a warm smile, 'I was bored, wandering around the grounds and found them...' she guestered widly.
Taking in the girls apparence she was suprised that a third year, of a different house, would be talking to her. But then, she always knew Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs got on nicely.

"They are quite interesting," Sandie said, looking toward the girls sitting by the lake. "If they had any sense at all, they'd know we were here, wouldn't they?" She asked Serenity, and then shrugged. "Ah, well, it'll be fun either way."

'I suppose...' Serenity muttered, 'I really don't know why that Junifer Icefeather hates so many people...'

Sandie looked at her, confused. "Really? That isn't cool, hating people. I've never met Janice Ikewing..wait, what did you say her name was?"

Serenity laughed quietly, 'Junifer Icefeather. I think. She seems to keep away from most people...'
She moved into a more comfortable position. They seemed to be silent for the time being, Junifer and the Slytherin.

Sandie looked at the two girls sitting near the lake, then smiled. "I wonder what they're thinking," she said. Probably that they're better than other houses. Typical Slytherin, she thought. I can't believe I just thought that. I mean, how should I know? Who am I to say they follow along with house rivalries? Sandie mentally scolded herself.

Junifer ignored the girl now. She was too nosy for her own good. Instead, Junifer noticed two young victims willingly enter her web. She smirked, stood up without caring about the girl and made her way towards them. "Ladies," Junifer spoke in an ice cold voice. Junifer just stood there, her eyes glaring from one to another, not saying anything..
